Question: How many artists does it take to change a lightbulb? Answer: Two. One to change the bulb, and one to say "I could do that!" When I learned about the original daily painting blogger, Duane Keiser, I thought, "I could do that!" My thanks to Duane and the other leaders in the Painting-A-Day movement.

Hi, you have nice drawings here.I have a question, what kind of charcoal do you use and what's the dimension of your paper for this drawing.I ask this because I don't now what paper dimension to choose.
Regards, Mihail.
I emailed Mihail about his question, but for anyone else who's interested -- I used charcoal pencils, soft and extra-soft grades, mostly "Ritmo" and "General" brands. These are sharpened to a long, tapered point. The paper is smooth newsprint, 18 by 24 inches.
Thank you.For your answer. This idea with one drawing a day is great.
Regards.
