Hungarian Woman in White Scarf

Hungarian Woman in White Scarf, by Bruce Hedges
Oil on panel 4 x 5 inches

I love the emotions that can show in a human face. Portraits are challenging, and very satisfying when done well. This lady has a face that was wonderful to paint.

I gasped when I saw it! After seeing still lifes up to this point, it was a surprise to see a portrait featured. It's beautiful!

This one draws a memory from a distant past. She's mysterious and lovely. I don't see her on EBay, though...???
