Oil on panel 4 x 5 inches
I've noticed that the color on my monitor is shifted from the actual painting. The colors look brighter and redder. That may be the case on your monitor too. This painting and Purple Red Onion have shifted toward the red side of the spectrum. The paintings are more subdued in color than the images that show up on the computer screen.
Another beauty. I want to eat those grapes, they look so real! You're brilliant.

ReplyDeleteSeriously, paintings look good enough to eat!
Wow! I love the reds and yellows. And purples.
ReplyDeleteBruce Hedges, you do beautiful work. I like to blow the images up to full screen so I can see the detail you paint, e.g., the slightly knobby and bumpy texture of the stem on the pear. Excellent!
ReplyDeleteSeeing your new work is like getting presents every few days. Fun - and a feast for the eyes. Love it!
