Question: How many artists does it take to change a lightbulb? Answer: Two. One to change the bulb, and one to say "I could do that!" I love this -- very cool drawing! Maybe it's the expression, or the contrast, or the kind of forced perspective, or some combination...whatever it is, I really like it.
Thank you, Scott. I am studying to develop this approach to drawing. A lot of artists use it for portrait work and get a good effect, so I'm practicing. Thursday's post (Aug 12, 2010) shows the finished drawing and the step by step process.
