Question: How many artists does it take to change a lightbulb?
Answer: Two. One to change the bulb, and one to say "I could do that!"
When I learned about the original daily painting blogger, Duane Keiser, I thought, "I could do that!" My thanks to Duane and the other leaders in the Painting-A-Day movement.

Yellow rose
Oil on panel 8 X 10 inches. Can be viewed at Segil Fine Art Source in Monrovia, CA at the 9th annual Small Works Show from December 3 through 31.
A painting! :) How lovely this one is! Your still-life's are always so marvelous. The reflection in the silver is just fabulous, and the little, colored marbles add a really neat touch. And the colors you chose are lovely, too. Yellow roses are my favorite roses. :) Nice work!
Thanks, Kirstin,....Still lifes are enjoyable because there is a lot of potential for beauty. You can gather the colors, textures, and shapes you want, and develop attractive designs. I appreciate your nice words.
