Creme de Menthe

Oil on panel 4 x 5 inches

Continuing the glass theme. Creme de Menthe in an aperitif glass and a white rosebud. Glass has a beauty all its own, and is an interesting challenge to paint.

Bruce, could you give a few details with the paintings? (Such as, the year it was painted, and what medium? I assume oil on canvas?)

Thanks, I'm very partial to roses, loved this one especially.

I can see the beginning of a beautiful kitchen adornment... Thanks for sharing your beautiful work, Bruce.

Your representations of transparent glass are stunning.

This painting captures a brief moment of stillness just before an action - as soon as I look away, someone will lift the flower to breathe it in, and raise the glass for a sip. Very nice.

Hi Bruce. Your paintings are gorgeous. How can someone purchase them?

This is breathtaking. I really want to smell that rose!

HOW do you do that??!! We need to check the thesaurus for more adjectives that mean beautiful, gorgeous, amazing.

I'm really blown away by your ability.

Mr. Hedges, please give more information about yourself on the site. Where does one buy your paintings? I assume there are more? Where are you showing next? Please advise.
